Wow that’s some power! Normally a 190k WU for me is probably gonna take 6 hours, looks like your 2080 probably clears it in 2.5-3 hours or so.

Out of curiosity, what kind of temps does it reach while folding? I’ve had my system on 24/7 for the past couple of weeks at least and my 1660 Super temps hover around ~76 degrees, depending on the ambient temperature.

I have a 2080 as well, but can’t seem to crank those numbers

There are 3 2080's (minus the laptop verson) the normal, Super and the Ti.  The Ti is TOP dog and likely 50% faster than this.  The normal was the intro model, but not much less than the super.. Updated drivers and it shows as a 2080 in the description and hardware manager?  Strange.

Nice.

Are both those temps in Fahrenheit? GPU in Celsius and ambient in Fahrenheit makes sense, but if both are F ahrenheit you must be watercooling? If both are in Celsius, dear god stop folding.

That’s an original, but you should be cranking 1.5 M+ a day...

I can confirm what Verdog said - go to the Nvidia website, run the driver updater and you should pull down ~2M points per day (ppd) with an RTX2080 because that’s what I’m running right now. You do need to set the folding power to full. You can also do what Verdog did and use the configurations tab to remove your CPU option, as it mostly just adds heat and not a lot of points compared to your GPU

I’m running the base RTX2080 on my son’s desktop and getting 1.9M ppd which is 100x what I could manage on CPUs alone. I did have to add an external desk fan blowing into the case to keep the GPU temps below 77C (only one measly case fan, although the CPU has its own dedicated water cooler, I’m going to need to think about adding some fans because the desk fan is loud ). Keep folding
